Enviro Glass. High performance glass which keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer.
Energy efficient windows from enviro are not fitted with standard glass. Windows such as the enviro fusion are fitted with low emissivity e-glass, high performance glass which has fantastic thermal insulating qualities and when combined with the ultra efficient upvc fusion profile is considered to be as heat efficient as the much more expensive triple glazing.
By fitting e-glass windows with the warm edge spacer and argon gas filled units you can cut the amount of energy wasted through windows by almost 90%. Low emissitivity glass lets more of the heat from the sun in and reduces the amount lost in the other direction, keeping the room warmer.
For conservatories, consumers are becoming increasingly aware of the benefits of glass roofing compared with polycarbonate. Aside from aesthetics, Glass tends to have a much longer life span and a glass roof, apart from being thermally more efficient, also substantially cuts the amount of noise produced by heavy rain (which can be considerable).
